About the Client:
Payac, Ireland’s largest member-owned Credit Union Service Organisation (CUSO), represents 170 Credit Unions across the country. Since its establishment in 2016, Payac has been at the forefront of innovation, introducing Ireland’s first Current Account service for Credit Unions and providing a comprehensive suite of payment solutions.
Project Overview:
Clever Office was tasked with refurbishing and upgrading Payac support centre in Carrick-On-Shannon. The goal was to create a modern and efficient workspace, tailored to support the team’s daily activities while providing acoustic features for a busy support centre along with a new admin section and two executive offices and a new meeting room.

Our Approach and Solutions
Support Workstations with Acoustic Comfort
For the support centre, we introduced Connect Workstations by EOL, paired with Solange Desktop Acoustic Screens. These solutions help reduce noise levels, creating a more focused and productive environment for the team.
Admin Workstations with Flexibility
We outfitted the admin section with Axel 120-Degree Sit-Stand Workstations by EOL, complete with Solange Acoustic Screens. These sit-stand desks offer ergonomic flexibility, ensuring the team can work comfortably throughout the day.
Workstation Enhancements for Productivity
Each workstation was equipped with a Fellowes Platinum Dual Monitor Arm, maximising desktop space and improving ergonomic comfort. We also added Cove Power Modules for convenient over-desk access to power and USB charging, boosting efficiency and flexibility.
Executive Offices and Meeting Room Modernisation
For the executive offices, we installed Axel Executive Sit-Stand Desks by EOL, complemented by sleek matching storage solutions. In the meeting room, we introduced the Arial Meeting Table and paired it with contemporary Isabel Meeting Chairs by EOL, giving the space a polished and professional look.
The Result
The revamped Payac support centre now boasts a contemporary design that combines functionality, comfort, and style. Acoustic features have enhanced the workspace for the busy team, while the executive offices and meeting room exude a modern, professional atmosphere. Payac’s new office environment supports their mission of empowering Credit Unions to deliver outstanding service.
